So can you really beat bargain ice cream? How about when it is to honor firefighters? Baskin-Robbins is once again doing their 31 cent ice cream night! It is this Wednesday (4/28/2010) from 5pm – 10pm. I recommend that you check the site just to make sure that your Baskin-Robbins is participating.
If you like a real nice meal and are here in Fresno (and soon some other areas) Restuarant Week is a great options. While it lasts 20 days and not a week, it is put on by Get Dining. Restuarants of various price levels have a set price fixed, 3-course menu. So if you have been wanting to try a fancy place (like Ruth’s Chris or Slates) you can get a $34 3-course menu. There are also cheaper menus for cheaper restuarants. NerdDad and I are going out tonight and are thinking about trying Luke’s or Richards!
You need to go to Origins on 4/22/2010. Because if you go to Origins store or counter and take your current skincare (empty or not) they will give you a full size cleanser for free!!!! You will get a choice between 2 different types. That is a $22 value! They posted this on their Facebook fan page!
Did everyone else know that some restaurants give free food and discounts on April 15th? I had know idea! Kansas City Mamas has great list of the restaurants and their deals. MaggieMoo’s here in town is participating in the free ice cream pizza!!! Woohoo!!!
Not all my bargains are a result of coupons! This weekend (yes, we are halfway through) the Avenue has some really cute tops on sale for only $5 as a doorbuster special! You can get them online or in the store. I am going to the store so I can try them on and not pay shipping/handling. But if you buy them online you can always return them to the store. Also if you order online remember to go through Ebates! You can get 3% back and $5 if it is your first purchase!

Cute, eh? I am throwing a pink and brown baby shower for our niece and was racking my brain for an inexpensive center piece. I always struggle with center pieces because they tend to be a waste of money. You use it once and then, since it is usually paper or cardboard, you throw them away. But it needed something.
From March 5th to March 7th Ikea is selling their Swedish Meatball meal for $1 (This is not going in Hicksville, Houston or Ikea Direct). This has 10 meatballs and mashed potatoes. I absolutely love Swedish Meatballs, to a kind of sad and pathetic level;). Unfortunately we live a few hours away from Ikea but I am hoping to take a trip there soon with friends!

I seemed to be one of the few people who has a filing cabinet without a frame to hang files on. I bought a frame and then found out that is was legal and not letter size. You know how restaurants have those “kids eat free” nights? There is a site called KidsEatFor that actually has the lists of all the deals! Just put in your zip and they can organize your week;). It doesn’t have every one in my area but it does have a spot where you can add ones they don’t have.

About a week ago I went to Fashion Bug and got these cute pieces. I picked up all 3 for less than $35! Fashion Big was running 50% off the clearance and then I had a $5 off $25 that I got printed from a receipt at Walgreens. If you can’t tell from the pic… I got a cute dress, brown top and a 3/4 sleeve denim jacket! Such a deal!
